  被我這麼聽聞
  有一次世尊與大比丘僧團一起在迦尸進行遊行
  在那裡,世尊召喚比丘們:
  「比丘們!我就擱置晚餐後吃,比丘們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,我認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,比丘們!來!請你們也就擱置晚餐後吃,比丘們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,你們也將認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。」
  「是的,大德!」那些比丘回答世尊。
  那時,世尊在迦尸次第進行遊行地抵達名叫記大其哩的迦尸城鎮,在那裡,世尊住在記大其哩的迦尸城鎮。(174)
  當時,名叫阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘是在記大其哩居住者。那時,眾多比丘去見阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,抵達後,對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘說這個:
  「學友們!世尊與比丘僧團就擱置晚餐後吃,學友們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,他們認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,學友們!來!請你們也就擱置晚餐後吃,學友們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,你們也將認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。」
  在這麼說時,阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘對那些比丘說這個:
  「學友們!我們就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃,當那些我們就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃時,認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,那些我們為何捨斷直接可見的後,將追逐時間的呢?我們將就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃時。」
  由於那些比丘不能夠說服阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,然後去見世尊。抵達後,向世尊問訊後,在一旁坐下。在一旁坐下的那些比丘對世尊說這個:
  「大德!這裡,我們去見阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,抵達後,對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘說這個:『學友們!世尊與比丘僧團就擱置晚餐後吃,學友們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,他們認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,學友們!來!請你們也就擱置晚餐後吃,學友們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,你們也將認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。』大德!在這麼說時,阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘對我們說這個:『學友們!我們就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃,當那些我們就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃時,認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,那些我們為何捨斷直接可見的後,將追逐時間的呢?我們將就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃時。』大德!由於我們不能夠說服阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,然後告訴世尊這件事。」(175)
  那時,世尊召喚某位比丘:
  「來!比丘!請你以我的名義召喚阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘。」
  「是的,大德!」那位比丘回答世尊後,去見阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘。抵達後,對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘說這個:
  「大師召喚尊者們。」
  「是的,學友!」阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘回答那位比丘後,去見世尊。抵達後,向世尊問訊後,在一旁坐下。世尊對在一旁坐下的阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘說這個:
  「比丘們!傳說是真的?眾多比丘去見你們後,說這個:『學友們!世尊與比丘僧團就擱置晚餐後吃,學友們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,他們認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,學友們!來!請你們也就擱置晚餐後吃,比丘們!而當擱置晚餐後吃時,你們也將認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。』比丘們!在這麼說時,你們對那些比丘說這個:『學友們!我們就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃,當那些我們就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃時,認知少疾病性、少病苦性、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,那些我們為何捨斷直接可見的後,將追逐時間的呢?我們將就在傍晚、早晨、白天非時吃時。』」
  「是的,大德!」(176)
  「比丘們!你們了知什麼法被我這麼教導:凡這位男子個人感受任何樂,或苦,或不苦不樂,他的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加嗎?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!你們不了知法被我這麼教導:這裡,凡當感受像這樣的樂受時,某一類人的諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退;這裡,凡當感受像這樣的樂受時,某一類人的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加;這裡,凡當感受像這樣的苦受時,某一類人的諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退;這裡,凡當感受像這樣的苦受時,某一類人的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加,不是嗎?」
  「是的,大德!」(177)
  「比丘們!!比丘們!如果這個不被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的樂受時,某一類人的諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退。』不知道的我這麼說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的樂受。』比丘們!是否這對我是適當的呢?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!但,因為這個被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的樂受時,某一類人的諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退。』因此,我說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的樂受。』
  比丘們!如果這個不被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的樂受時,某一類人的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加。』不知道的我這麼說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的樂受。』比丘們!是否這對我是適當的呢?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!但,因為這個被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的樂受時,某一類人的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加。』因此,我說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的樂受。』(178)
  比丘們!如果這個不被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的苦受時,某一類人的諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退。』不知道的我這麼說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的苦受。』比丘們!是否這對我是適當的呢?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!但,因為那這個被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的苦受時,某一類人的諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退。』因此,我說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的苦受。』
  比丘們!如果這個不被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的苦受時,某一類人的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加。』不知道的我這麼說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的苦受。』比丘們!是否這對我是適當的呢?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!但,因為這個被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,凡當感受像這樣的苦受時,某一類人的諸不善法衰退,諸善法增加。』因此,我說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的苦受。』(179)
  比丘們!如果這個不被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退。』不知道的我這麼說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的不苦不樂受。』比丘們!是否這對我是適當的呢?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!但,因為這個被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,諸不善法增加,諸善法衰退。』因此,我說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的不苦不樂受。』
  比丘們!如果這個不被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法衰退,善法增加。』不知道的我這麼說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的不苦不樂受。』比丘們!是否這對我是適當的呢?」
  「大德!這確實不是。」
  「比丘們!但,因為這個被我知道、看見、發現、作證、以慧觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法衰退,善法增加。』因此,我說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的不苦不樂受。』(180)
  比丘們!我不說:『所有比丘都有以不放逸應該被作的。』比丘們!而我也不說:『所有比丘都沒有以不放逸應該被作的。』比丘們!凡那些漏已滅盡的、已完成的、應該被作的已作的、負擔已卸的、自己的利益已達成的有之結已滅盡的、以究竟智解脫的阿羅漢比丘,比丘們!我說:『像那樣的比丘沒有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?他們的以不放逸已作,他們不可能放逸。比丘們!而凡那些心意未達成、住於希求著無上軛安穩有學比丘,比丘們!我說:『像那樣的比丘有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?或許,受用諸適當的臥坐處、結交諸善友、善統制諸根的尊者們就在當生以證智自作證後,進入後住於善男子們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾。比丘們!當看見這些比丘的不放逸果時,這個我說:『有以不放逸應該被作的。』(181)
  比丘們!有這七種現在的世間中存在的人,哪七種?俱分解脫者慧解脫者身證者達到見者信解脫者隨法行者隨信行者
  比丘們!而哪種人是俱分解脫者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人以身觸達後住,且以慧看見那個後,諸被遍滅盡,比丘們!這個人被稱為俱分解脫者。比丘們!我說:『這位比丘沒有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?他的以不放逸已作,他不可能放逸。
  比丘們!而哪種人是慧解脫者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人沒以身觸達後住,但以慧看見那個後,諸被遍滅盡,比丘們!這個人被稱為慧解脫者。比丘們!我說:『這位比丘也沒有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?他的以不放逸已作,他不可能放逸。
  比丘們!而哪種人是身證者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人以身觸達後住,且以慧看見那個後,一些漏被遍滅盡,比丘們!這個人被稱為身證者。比丘們!我說:『這位比丘有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?或許,受用諸適當的臥坐處、結交諸善友、善統制諸根的尊者們就在當生以證智自作證後,進入後住於凡善男子們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾。比丘們!當看見這位比丘的不放逸果時,這個我說:『有以不放逸應該被作的。』
  比丘們!而哪種人是達到見者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人沒以身觸達後住,但以慧看見那個後,一些漏被遍滅盡,且對他,如來宣說的諸法被慧深解、深察,比丘們!這個人被稱為達到見者。比丘們!我說:『這位比丘也有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?或許,受用諸適當的臥坐處、結交諸善友、善統制諸根的尊者們就在當生以證智自作證後,進入後住於凡善男子們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾。比丘們!當看見這位比丘的不放逸果時,這個我說:『有以不放逸應該被作的。』
  比丘們!而哪種人是信解脫者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人沒以身觸達後住,但以慧看見那個後,一些漏被遍滅盡,且對他,在如來上信已安頓、已生根、已確立,比丘們!這個人被稱為信解脫者。比丘們!我說:『這位比丘也有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?或許,受用諸適當的臥坐處、結交諸善友、善統制諸根的尊者們就在當生以證智自作證後,進入後住於凡善男子們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾。比丘們!當看見這位比丘的不放逸果時,這個我說:『有以不放逸應該被作的。』
  比丘們!而哪種人是隨法行者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人沒以身觸達後住,但以慧看見那個後,一些漏被遍滅盡,且對他,如來宣說的諸法以慧足夠理解地接受,此外,他有這些法,即:信根、精進根、念根、定根、慧根,比丘們!這個人被稱為隨法行者。比丘們!我說:『這位比丘也有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?或許,受用諸適當的臥坐處、結交諸善友、善統制諸根的尊者們就在當生以證智自作證後,進入後住於凡善男子們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾。比丘們!當看見這位比丘的不放逸果時,這個我說:『有以不放逸應該被作的。』
  比丘們!而哪種人是隨信行者?比丘們!這裡,凡那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,某一類人沒以身觸達後住,但以慧看見那個後,一些漏被遍滅盡,且對他,在如來上是足夠信者、足夠情愛者,此外,他有這些法,即:信根、精進根、念根、定根、慧根,比丘們!這個人被稱為隨信行者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘也有以不放逸應該被作的。』那是什麼原因?或許,受用諸適當的臥坐處、結交諸善友、善統制諸根的尊者們就在當生以證智自作證後,進入後住於凡善男子們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾。比丘們!當看見這位比丘的不放逸果時,這個我說:『有以不放逸應該被作的。』(182)
  比丘們!我不說完全智就立即的達成,比丘們!而是,完全智是以次第的學、以次第的行動、以次第的行之達成。比丘們!而怎樣完全智是以次第的學、以次第的行動、以次第的行之達成?比丘們!這裡,信已生者往見;往見者敬奉;敬奉者傾耳;傾耳者聽聞法;聽聞法後憶持;對所憶持諸法的義理考察;義理考察者的諸法沉思地接受;在有法的沉思接受時意欲被生起;意欲生起者竭力;竭力後衡量;衡量後勤奮;有勤奮者以身作證最高真理,同時也以慧貫通後看見它[MN.95, 432段]。比丘們!沒有那個信,比丘們!也沒有那個往見,比丘們!也沒有那個敬奉,比丘們!也沒有那個傾耳,比丘們!也沒有那個法的聽聞,比丘們!也沒有那個法的憶持,比丘們!也沒有那個義理的考察,比丘們!也沒有那個法的審慮接受,比丘們!也沒有那個意欲,比丘們!也沒有那個竭力,比丘們!也沒有那個衡量,比丘們!也沒有那個勤奮,比丘們![這樣]你們是離行道者,比丘們!你們是邪行道者,比丘們!這些無用的男子就已從這個法、律離開到多遠處。(183)
  比丘們!有四句記說,凡當被誦說時,有智的男子不久就會以慧了知義理。比丘們!我將為你們誦說,你們將從我了知它。」
  「大德!我們是誰?以及誰是法的了知者?」
  「比丘們!凡即使那位大師是重物質者、物質繼承人、住於與物質交際者,這位像這樣者對他如買賣交易般不適當(不來到):『如果我們有這樣,那麼我們做它,以及如果我們沒有這樣,那麼我們不做它。』比丘們!更何況凡如來住於已從全部物質分離(離交際)呢?
  比丘們!當有信的弟子在大師的教誡上深入後轉起時,這是如法的:『世尊是大師,我是弟子;世尊知道,我不知道。』
  比丘們!當有信的弟子在大師的教誡上深入後轉起時,大師的教誡是能被治癒的、多滋養的。
  比丘們!當有信的弟子在大師的教誡上深入後轉起時,這是如法的:『寧願剩下皮膚、肌腱、骨骸,身體中的血肉變乾,凡那個應該被人的力量、人的活力、人的努力達成的,那個沒達成後,將沒有活力的止息。』
  比丘們!當有信的弟子在大師的教誡上深入後轉起時,二果其中之一果能被預期:當生完全智,或在存在有餘依時,為阿那含位。」
  世尊說這個,悅意的那些比丘歡喜世尊的所說。(184)
  記大其哩經第十終了。
  比丘品第二終了,其攝頌
  象、羅侯羅、世界是常恆的,瑪魯迦之子與名為跋大哩,
  然後小鳥、娑婆主的乞求,那勒葛、林野、名為記大其哩。
MN.70/(10) Kīṭāgirisuttaṃ
   174. Evaṃ me sutaṃ– ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā kāsīsu cārikaṃ carati mahatā bhikkhusaṅghena saddhiṃ. Tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi– “ahaṃ kho, bhikkhave, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjāmi. Aññatra kho panāhaṃ, bhikkhave, rattibhojanā bhuñjamāno appābādhatañca sañjānāmi appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, bhikkhave, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho pana, bhikkhave, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā”ti. “Evaṃ, bhante”ti kho te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. Atha kho bhagavā kāsīsu anupubbena cārikaṃ caramāno yena kīṭāgiri nāma kāsīnaṃ nigamo tadavasari. Tatra sudaṃ bhagavā kīṭāgirismiṃ viharati kāsīnaṃ nigame.
   175. Tena kho pana samayena assajipunabbasukā nāma bhikkhū kīṭāgirismiṃ āvāsikā honti. Atha kho sambahulā bhikkhū yena assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū etadavocuṃ– “bhagavā kho, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjati bhikkhusaṅgho ca. Aññatra kho panāvuso, rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānanti appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho panāvuso, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā”ti Evaṃ vutte, assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū te bhikkhū etadavocuṃ– “mayaṃ kho, āvuso, sāyañceva bhuñjāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle. Te mayaṃ sāyañceva bhuñjamānā pāto ca divā ca vikāle appābādhatañca sañjānāma appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Te mayaṃ kiṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ hitvā kālikaṃ anudhāvissāma? Sāyañceva mayaṃ bhuñjissāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle”ti.
   Yato kho te bhikkhū nāsakkhiṃsu assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū saññāpetuṃ, atha yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Ekamantaṃ nisinnā kho te bhikkhū bhagavantaṃ etadavocuṃ– “idha mayaṃ, bhante, yena assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tenupasaṅkamimha; upasaṅkamitvā assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū etadavocumha– ‘bhagavā kho, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjati bhikkhusaṅgho ca; aññatra kho panāvuso, rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānanti appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, āvuso aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho panāvuso, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā’ti. Evaṃ vutte, bhante, assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū amhe etadavocuṃ– ‘mayaṃ kho, āvuso, sāyañceva bhuñjāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle. Te mayaṃ sāyañceva bhuñjamānā pāto ca divā ca vikāle appābādhatañca sañjānāma appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Te mayaṃ kiṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ hitvā kālikaṃ anudhāvissāma? Sāyañceva mayaṃ bhuñjissāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle’ti. Yato kho mayaṃ, bhante, nāsakkhimha assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū saññāpetuṃ, atha mayaṃ etamatthaṃ bhagavato ārocemā”ti.
   176. Atha kho bhagavā aññataraṃ bhikkhuṃ āmantesi – “ehi tvaṃ, bhikkhu, mama vacanena assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū āmantehi– ‘satthā āyasmante āmantetī’”ti. “Evaṃ, bhante”ti kho so bhikkhu bhagavato paṭissutvā yena assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tenupasaṅkami; upasaṅkamitvā assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū etadavoca– “satthā āyasmante āmantetī”ti. “Evamāvuso”ti kho assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tassa bhikkhuno paṭissutvā yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Ekamantaṃ nisinne kho assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū bhagavā etadavoca– “saccaṃ kira, bhikkhave, sambahulā bhikkhū tumhe upasaṅkamitvā etadavocuṃ– ‘bhagavā kho, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjati bhikkhusaṅgho ca. Aññatra kho panāvuso, rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānanti appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho panāvuso, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā’ti. Evaṃ vutte kira, bhikkhave, tumhe te bhikkhū evaṃ avacuttha– ‘mayaṃ kho panāvuso, sāyañceva bhuñjāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle. Te mayaṃ sāyañceva bhuñjamānā pāto ca divā ca vikāle appābādhatañca sañjānāma appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Te mayaṃ kiṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ hitvā kālikaṃ anudhāvissāma? Sāyañceva mayaṃ bhuñjissāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle’”ti. “Evaṃ, bhante”.

Uddisissāmi vo, bhikkhave, ājānissatha me tan”ti? “Ke ca mayaṃ, bhante, ke ca dhammassa aññātāro”ti? Yopi so, bhikkhave, satthā āmisagaru āmisadāyādo āmisehi saṃsaṭṭho viharati tassa pāyaṃ evarūpī paṇopaṇaviyā na upeti– ‘evañca no assa atha naṃ kareyyāma, na ca no evamassa na naṃ kareyyāmā’ti, kiṃ pana, bhikkhave, yaṃ tathāgato sabbaso āmisehi visaṃsaṭṭho viharati.
