10. “Navayime bhikkhave, puggalā āhuneyyā pāhuneyyā dakkhiṇeyyā añjalikaraṇīyā anuttaraṃ puññakkhettaṃ lokassa. Katame nava? Arahā, arahattāya paṭipanno, anāgāmī, anāgāmiphalasacchikiriyāya paṭipanno, sakadāgāmī, sakadāgāmiphalasacchikiriyāya paṭipanno, sotāpanno, sotāpattiphalasacchikiriyāya paṭipanno, gotrabhū– ime kho, bhikkhave, nava puggalā āhuneyyā …pe… anuttaraṃ puññakkhettaṃ lokassā”ti. Sambodhi nissayo ceva, meghiya nandakaṃ balaṃ;

漢巴經文比對(莊春江作):
「種性人(AA.44.8)」,南傳作「種姓者」(gotrabhū),菩提比丘長老英譯為「氏族成員」(the clan member),並指出,本經的「種姓者」似乎只是單純指未證初果的有德比丘、比丘尼(In the present sutta it seems to mean simply a virtuous monk or nun who has not reached the path of stream-entry),而在MN.142中則指虛有其表的修道者(經文為「破戒、惡法的種姓者們」,MA.180為「有比丘名姓種,不精進,著袈裟衣」),具有貶義感,這與《滿足希求》與《清淨道論》所指:緊接著須陀洹道心的心路(cittavīthi)中之心識剎那(mind-moment)不同。按:《法蘊足論》說:「是種姓者,謂四聖種,是一切佛及諸弟子古昔不共家種姓故。」相應於與本經。
