  有一次世尊住在王舍城栗鼠飼養處的竹林中。
  那時,遊行者髻髮尸婆去見世尊。抵達後,與世尊一起互相問候。交換應該被互相問候的友好交談後,就在一旁坐下。在一旁坐下的遊行者髻髮尸婆對世尊說這個:
  「喬達摩尊師!有一些沙門婆羅門是這麼說者、這麼見者:『凡這位男子個人感受任何樂、或苦、或不苦不樂,那全是因過去所作。』這裡,喬達摩尊師怎麼說?」
  「尸婆!膽汁等起(因素),這裡,某些感受生起,尸婆!這也能被自己知道:關於膽汁等起,這裡,某些感受生起。尸婆!這也是世間認定的真理:關於膽汁等起,這裡,某些感受生起。尸婆!在那裡,凡那些這麼說、這麼見的沙門、婆羅門:『凡這位男子個人感受任何樂、或苦、或不苦不樂,那全是因過去所作。』他們越過自己知道的,以及他們越過世間中認定的真理,因此,我說:『那些沙門、婆羅門的[說法]是錯的。』
  尸婆!痰等起……也……(中略)尸婆!風等起……也……(中略)尸婆![三者]集合……也……(中略)尸婆!時節變化生的……也……(中略)尸婆!不正注意生的……也……(中略)尸婆!突然來襲的……也……(中略)尸婆!業果報生的,這裡,某些感受也生起。尸婆!這也能被自己感受:關於業果報生的,這裡,某些感受也生起,尸婆!這也是世間認定的真理:關於業果報生的,這裡,某些感受也生起。尸婆!那裡,凡那些這麼說、這麼見的沙門、婆羅門:『凡這位男子個人感受任何樂、或苦、或不苦不樂,那全是因過去所作。』他們越過自己知道的,以及他們越過世間中認定的真理,因此,我說:『那些沙門、婆羅門的[說法]是錯的。』」
  在這麼說時,遊行者髻髮尸婆對世尊說這個:
  「太偉大了,喬達摩尊師!太偉大了,喬達摩尊師!……(中略)請喬達摩尊師記得我為優婆塞,從今天起已起終生歸依。」
  「膽、痰與風,[三者]集合、時節,
   不正、突然來襲的、以業果報為第八。」
3. Aṭṭhasatapariyāyavaggo
SN.36.21/(1) Sīvakasuttaṃ
   269. Ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā rājagahe viharati veḷuvane kalandakanivāpe. Atha kho moḷiyasīvako paribbājako yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkami; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavatā saddhiṃ sammodi. Sammodanīyaṃ kathaṃ sāraṇīyaṃ vītisāretvā ekamantaṃ nisīdi. Ekamantaṃ nisinno kho moḷiyasīvako paribbājako bhagavantaṃ etadavoca– “santi, bho gotama, eke samaṇabrāhmaṇā evaṃvādino evaṃdiṭṭhino– ‘yaṃ kiñcāyaṃ purisapuggalo paṭisaṃvedeti sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā sabbaṃ taṃ pubbekatahetū’ti. Idha bhavaṃ gotamo kimāhā”ti?
   “Pittasamuṭṭhānānipi kho, sīvaka, idhekaccāni vedayitāni uppajjanti. Sāmampi kho etaṃ, sīvaka, veditabbaṃ yathā pittasamuṭṭhānānipi idhekaccāni vedayitāni uppajjanti; lokassapi kho etaṃ, sīvaka, saccasammataṃ yathā pittasamuṭṭhānānipi idhekaccāni vedayitāni uppajjanti. Tatra, sīvaka, ye te samaṇabrāhmaṇā evaṃvādino evaṃdiṭṭhino– ‘yaṃ kiñcāyaṃ purisapuggalo paṭisaṃvedeti sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā sabbaṃ taṃ pubbekatahetū’ti. Yañca sāmaṃ ñātaṃ tañca atidhāvanti, yañca loke saccasammataṃ tañca atidhāvanti. Tasmā tesaṃ samaṇabrāhmaṇānaṃ micchāti vadāmi.
   “Semhasamuṭṭhānānipi kho, sīvaka …pe… vātasamuṭṭhānānipi kho, sīvaka …pe… sannipātikānipi kho, sīvaka …pe… utupariṇāmajānipi kho, sīvaka …pe… visamaparihārajānipi kho, sīvaka …pe… opakkamikānipi kho, sīvaka …pe… kammavipākajānipi kho, sīvaka, idhekaccāni vedayitāni uppajjanti. Sāmampi kho etaṃ, sīvaka, veditabbaṃ. Yathā kammavipākajānipi idhekaccāni vedayitāni uppajjanti; lokassapi kho etaṃ, sīvaka, saccasammataṃ. Yathā kammavipākajānipi idhekaccāni vedayitāni uppajjanti; tatra, sīvaka, ye te samaṇabrāhmaṇā evaṃvādino evaṃdiṭṭhino– ‘yaṃ kiñcāyaṃ purisapuggalo paṭisaṃvedeti sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā sabbaṃ taṃ pubbekatahetū’ti. Evaṃ vutte, moḷiyasīvako paribbājako bhagavantaṃ etadavoca– ‘abhikkantaṃ, bho gotama, abhikkantaṃ, bho gotama …pe… upāsakaṃ maṃ bhavaṃ gotamo dhāretu ajjatagge pāṇupetaṃ saraṇaṃ gatan’”ti.
   “Pittaṃ semhañca vāto ca, sannipātā utūni ca;
   Visamaṃ opakkamikaṃ, kammavipākena aṭṭhamī”ti. Paṭhamaṃ.
漢巴經文比對(莊春江作):
  「膽汁等起(因素),」(Pittasamuṭṭhānānipi),菩提比丘長老英譯為「起源於膽汁失調」(arise…originating from bile disorders)。「[三者]集合……也」(sannipātikānipi),菩提比丘長老英譯為「源自[三者的]不平衡」(originating from an imbalance [of the three]),並解說,古印度醫學中,「膽(汁)、痰、風」是三種身體疾病的要素(dosa)。
  「不正注意生的」(visamaparihārajānipi,另譯為「不等姿勢生的,險難襲來生的」),菩提比丘長老英譯為「以不小心行為引起」(produced by careless behaviour)。
