  我聽到這樣
  有一次世尊與大比丘僧團一起在迦尸進行遊行
  在那裡,世尊召喚比丘們:
  「比丘們!我除去夜間食而食,又,比丘們!當除去夜間食而食時,我覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,比丘們!來!請你們也除去夜間食而食,比丘們!當除去夜間食而食時,你們也將覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。」
  「是的,大德!」那些比丘回答世尊。
  那時,世尊在迦尸次第進行遊行,抵達名叫記大其哩的迦尸城鎮,在那裡,世尊就住在記大其哩的迦尸城鎮。
  當時,在記大其哩住有名叫阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛的比丘,那時,眾多比丘去見阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,抵達後,對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘這麼說:
  「學友們!世尊與比丘僧團除去夜間食而食,學友們!當除去夜間食而食時,他們覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,學友們!來!請你們也除去夜間食而食,比丘們!當除去夜間食而食時,你們也將覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。」
  當這麼說時,阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘對那些比丘這麼說:
  「學友們!我們在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐,當在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐時,我們覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,我們為何要捨斷直接可見的而將追逐耗時的呢?我們將在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐。」
  由於那些比丘不能說服阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,因而去見世尊。抵達後,向世尊問訊,接著在一旁坐下。在一旁坐好後,那些比丘對世尊這麼說:
  「大德!這裡,我們去見阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,抵達後,對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘這麼說:『學友們!世尊與比丘僧團除去夜間食而食,學友們!當除去夜間食而食時,他們覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,學友們!來!請你們也除去夜間食而食,比丘們!當除去夜間食而食時,你們也將覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。』大德!當這麼說時,阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘對那些比丘這麼說:『學友們!我們在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐,當在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐時,我們覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,我們為何要捨斷那些直接可見的而將追逐耗時的呢?我們將在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐。』大德!由於我們不能說服阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘,因而告訴世尊這件事。」
  那時,世尊召喚某位比丘:
  「來!比丘!你以我的名義召喚阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘。」
  「是的,大德!」那位比丘回答世尊後,就去見阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘。抵達後,對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘這麼說:
  「大師召喚尊者們。」
  「是的,學友!」阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘回答那位比丘後,就去見世尊。抵達後,向世尊問訊,接著在一旁坐下。在一旁坐好後,世尊對阿說示與晡那玻蘇葛比丘這麼說:
  「是真的嗎?比丘們!眾多比丘去見你們後,這麼說:『學友們!世尊與比丘僧團除去夜間食而食,學友們!當除去夜間食而食時,他們覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,學友們!來!請你們也除去夜間食而食,比丘們!當除去夜間食而食時,你們也將覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住。』比丘們!當這麼說時,你們對那些比丘這麼說:『學友們!我們在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐,當在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐時,我們覺知少病、少惱、起居輕快、有力氣、安樂住,我們為何要捨斷直接可見的而將追逐耗時的呢?我們將在傍晚、早晨、白天不適當的時間用餐。』」
  「是的,大德!」
  「比丘們!你們了知什麼法被我這麼教導:凡任何這位男子感受或樂,或苦,或不苦不樂,他的不善法減損,善法增長嗎?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!你們不了知法被我這麼教導:這裡,當某人感受像這樣的樂受時,不善法增長,善法減損;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的樂受時,不善法減損,善法增長;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的苦受時,不善法增長,善法減損;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的苦受時,不善法減損,善法增長;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法增長,善法減損;這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法減損,善法增長嗎?」
  「是的,大德!」
  「比丘們!!比丘們!如果那不被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的樂受時,不善法增長,善法減損。』當我不知道而這麼說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的樂受。』時,比丘們!這對我是否會是適當的呢?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!但,因為那被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的樂受時,不善法增長,善法減損。』因此,我說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的樂受。』
  比丘們!如果那不被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的樂受時,不善法減損,善法增長。』當我不知道而這麼說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的樂受。』時,比丘們!這對我是否會是適當的呢?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!但,因為那被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的樂受時,不善法減損,善法增長。』因此,我說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的樂受。』
  比丘們!如果那不被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的苦受時,不善法增長,善法減損。』當我不知道而這麼說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的苦受。』時,比丘們!這對我是否會是適當的呢?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!但,因為那被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的苦受時,不善法增長,善法減損。』因此,我說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的苦受。』
  比丘們!如果那不被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的苦受時,不善法減損,善法增長。』當我不知道而這麼說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的苦受。』時,比丘們!這對我是否會是適當的呢?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!但,因為那被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的苦受時,不善法減損,善法增長。』因此,我說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的苦受。』
  比丘們!如果那不被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法增長,善法減損。』當我不知道而這麼說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的不苦不樂受。』時,比丘們!這對我是否會是適當的呢?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!但,因為那被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法增長,善法減損。』因此,我說:『你們要捨斷像這樣的不苦不樂受。』
  比丘們!如果那不被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法減損,善法增長。』當我不知道而這麼說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的不苦不樂受。』時,比丘們!這對我是否會是適當的呢?」
  「不,大德!」
  「比丘們!但,因為那被我以慧了知、看見、發現、作證、觸達:『這裡,當某人感受像這樣的不苦不樂受時,不善法減損,善法增長。』因此,我說:『你們要進入後住於像這樣的不苦不樂受。』
  比丘們!我不說:『所有比丘都有必須以不放逸而做的。』比丘們!我也不說:『所有比丘都沒有必須以不放逸而做的。』比丘們!凡那些煩惱已盡、修行已成、應該作的已作、負擔已卸、自己的利益已達成有之結已被滅盡、以究竟智解脫的阿羅漢比丘,比丘們!我說:『像那樣的比丘沒有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?他們已經以不放逸做了,他們不可能放逸。比丘們!凡那些心意未達成、住於無上離軛安穩希求中的有學比丘,比丘們!我說:『像那樣的比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?或許,當這些尊者受用適當的坐臥處、結交善友、善統制諸根時,他們能以證智自作證後,在當生中進入後住於那善男子之所以從在家而正確地出家,成為非家生活梵行無上目標,比丘們!當看見這不放逸果時,我說:『這些比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』
  比丘們!現在世間中存在這七種個人,哪七種呢?俱分解脫者慧解脫者身證者得見者信解脫者隨法行者隨信行者
  比丘們!哪種個人是俱分解脫者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,而且,他以慧看見後,諸煩惱被滅盡,比丘們!這個人被稱為俱分解脫者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘沒有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?他已經以不放逸做了,他不可能放逸。
  比丘們!哪種個人是慧解脫者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人不以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,但,他以慧看見後,諸煩惱被滅盡,比丘們!這個人被稱為慧解脫者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘沒有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?他已經以不放逸做了,他不可能放逸。
  比丘們!哪種個人是身證者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,而且,他以慧看見後,某些煩惱被滅盡,比丘們!這個人被稱為身證者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?或許,當這位尊者受用適當的坐臥處、結交善友、善統制諸根時,他能以證智自作證後,在當生中進入後住於那善男子之所以從在家而正確地出家,成為非家生活的梵行無上目標,比丘們!當看見這不放逸果時,我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』
  比丘們!哪種個人是得見者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人不以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,但,他以慧看見後,某些煩惱被滅盡,如來所宣說的法被慧深解、深察,比丘們!這個人被稱為得見者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?或許,當這位尊者受用適當的坐臥處、結交善友、善統制諸根時,他能以證智自作證後,在當生中進入後住於那善男子之所以從在家而正確地出家,成為非家生活的梵行無上目標,比丘們!當看見這不放逸果時,我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』
  比丘們!哪種個人是信解脫者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人不以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,但,他以慧看見後,某些煩惱被滅盡,他對如來的信已住立、已生根、已確立,比丘們!這個人被稱為信解脫者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?或許,當這位尊者受用適當的坐臥處、結交善友、善統制諸根時,他能以證智自作證後,在當生中進入後住於那善男子之所以從在家而正確地出家,成為非家生活的梵行無上目標,比丘們!當看見這不放逸果時,我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』
  比丘們!哪種個人是隨法行者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人不以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,但,他以慧看見後,某些煩惱被滅盡,他以慧足夠地沉思而接受如來所宣說的法,又,他有這些法,即:信根、精進根、念根、定根、慧根,比丘們!這個人被稱為隨法行者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?或許,當這位尊者受用適當的坐臥處、結交善友、善統制諸根時,他能以證智自作證後,在當生中進入後住於那善男子之所以從在家而正確地出家,成為非家生活的梵行無上目標,比丘們!當看見這不放逸果時,我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』
  比丘們!哪種個人是隨信行者呢?比丘們!這裡,某個人不以身觸後住於那些超越色的無色寂靜解脫,但,他以慧看見後,某些煩惱被滅盡,他對如來有足夠的信與足夠的熱愛,又,他有這些法,即:信根、精進根、念根、定根、慧根,比丘們!這個人被稱為隨信行者,比丘們!我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』那是什麼原因呢?或許,當這位尊者受用適當的坐臥處、結交善友、善統制諸根時,他能以證智自作證後,在當生中進入後住於那善男子之所以從在家而正確地出家,成為非家生活的梵行無上目標,比丘們!當看見這不放逸果時,我說:『這位比丘有必須以不放逸而做的。』
  比丘們!我不說完全智立即成功的,比丘們!反而,完全智是以次第學、以次第行動、以次第行而成功的。比丘們!完全智是怎樣以次第學、以次第行動、以次第行而成功的呢?比丘們!這裡,當信已生起時,他往見;當往見時,他尊敬;當尊敬時,他傾耳;當傾耳時,他聽聞法;聽聞法後,他憶持,當憶持法時,他觀察道理;當觀察道理時,他沉思地接受法;當沉思地接受法時,欲被生起;當欲已生起時,他有能力;有能力後,他衡量;衡量後,他努力;當有自我努力時,以身作證最高真理,以慧貫通後看見它。比丘們!沒有那個信,比丘們!則沒有往見,比丘們!沒有那尊敬,比丘們!則沒有傾聽,比丘們!則沒有法的聽聞,比丘們!沒有那法的憶持,比丘們!沒有那道理的觀察,比丘們!沒有那沉思地接受法,比丘們!沒有那欲,比丘們!沒有那能力,比丘們!沒有那衡量,比丘們!則沒有努力,比丘們![這樣]你們是離行道者,比丘們!你們是邪行道者,比丘們!這些愚鈍男子離這法、律多遠啊!
  比丘們!有四句記說,當被誦說時,有智的男子會以慧在該處很快地就了知。比丘們!我將為你們誦說,請你們經由我而了知。」
  「大德!我們是誰啊!誰是法的了知者?」
  「比丘們!即使他是重於物質、物質繼承人、住於與物質相雜的大師,對這位像這樣者[弟子]如買賣交易般:『如果我們有這樣,那時,我們會做它,但,如果我們沒有這樣,那時,我們不會做它。』這也不適當,比丘們!更何況對住於與全部物質無相雜的如來呢?
  比丘們!對在大師的教誡上深入、轉起的有信弟子來說,這是如法的:『世尊是大師,我是弟子;世尊知道,我不知道。』
  比丘們!對在大師的教誡上深入、轉起的有信弟子來說,大師的教誡是使人恢復精力的、滋養的。
  比丘們!對在大師的教誡上深入、轉起的有信弟子來說,這是如法的:『樂於只要剩下皮膚、肌腱、骨骸;只要身體的血肉枯乾,只要以人的毅力、人的活力、人的努力應該達成而未達成者,將沒有活力的止息。』
  比丘們!對在大師的教誡上深入、轉起的有信弟子來說,二果其中之一果應該可以被預期:當生完全智,或當存在有餘依時,為不還者狀態。」
  這就是世尊所說,悅意的那些比丘歡喜世尊所說。
  記大其哩經第十終了。
  比丘品第二終了,其攝頌
  象、羅侯羅、世界是常恆的,瑪魯迦之子與名為跋大哩,
  再來是小鳥、娑婆主的乞求,那勒葛、林野、名為記大其哩。
MN.70/(10) Kīṭāgirisuttaṃ
   174. Evaṃ me sutaṃ– ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā kāsīsu cārikaṃ carati mahatā bhikkhusaṅghena saddhiṃ. Tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi– “ahaṃ kho, bhikkhave, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjāmi. Aññatra kho panāhaṃ, bhikkhave, rattibhojanā bhuñjamāno appābādhatañca sañjānāmi appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, bhikkhave, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho pana, bhikkhave, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā”ti. “Evaṃ, bhante”ti kho te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. Atha kho bhagavā kāsīsu anupubbena cārikaṃ caramāno yena kīṭāgiri nāma kāsīnaṃ nigamo tadavasari. Tatra sudaṃ bhagavā kīṭāgirismiṃ viharati kāsīnaṃ nigame.
   175. Tena kho pana samayena assajipunabbasukā nāma bhikkhū kīṭāgirismiṃ āvāsikā honti. Atha kho sambahulā bhikkhū yena assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū etadavocuṃ– “bhagavā kho, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjati bhikkhusaṅgho ca. Aññatra kho panāvuso, rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānanti appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho panāvuso, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā”ti Evaṃ vutte, assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū te bhikkhū etadavocuṃ– “mayaṃ kho, āvuso, sāyañceva bhuñjāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle. Te mayaṃ sāyañceva bhuñjamānā pāto ca divā ca vikāle appābādhatañca sañjānāma appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Te mayaṃ kiṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ hitvā kālikaṃ anudhāvissāma? Sāyañceva mayaṃ bhuñjissāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle”ti.
   Yato kho te bhikkhū nāsakkhiṃsu assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū saññāpetuṃ, atha yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Ekamantaṃ nisinnā kho te bhikkhū bhagavantaṃ etadavocuṃ– “idha mayaṃ, bhante, yena assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tenupasaṅkamimha; upasaṅkamitvā assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū etadavocumha– ‘bhagavā kho, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjati bhikkhusaṅgho ca; aññatra kho panāvuso, rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānanti appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, āvuso aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho panāvuso, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā’ti. Evaṃ vutte, bhante, assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū amhe etadavocuṃ– ‘mayaṃ kho, āvuso, sāyañceva bhuñjāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle. Te mayaṃ sāyañceva bhuñjamānā pāto ca divā ca vikāle appābādhatañca sañjānāma appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Te mayaṃ kiṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ hitvā kālikaṃ anudhāvissāma? Sāyañceva mayaṃ bhuñjissāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle’ti. Yato kho mayaṃ, bhante, nāsakkhimha assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū saññāpetuṃ, atha mayaṃ etamatthaṃ bhagavato ārocemā”ti.
   176. Atha kho bhagavā aññataraṃ bhikkhuṃ āmantesi – “ehi tvaṃ, bhikkhu, mama vacanena assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū āmantehi– ‘satthā āyasmante āmantetī’”ti. “Evaṃ, bhante”ti kho so bhikkhu bhagavato paṭissutvā yena assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tenupasaṅkami; upasaṅkamitvā assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū etadavoca– “satthā āyasmante āmantetī”ti. “Evamāvuso”ti kho assajipunabbasukā bhikkhū tassa bhikkhuno paṭissutvā yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Ekamantaṃ nisinne kho assajipunabbasuke bhikkhū bhagavā etadavoca– “saccaṃ kira, bhikkhave, sambahulā bhikkhū tumhe upasaṅkamitvā etadavocuṃ– ‘bhagavā kho, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjati bhikkhusaṅgho ca. Aññatra kho panāvuso, rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānanti appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Etha, tumhepi, āvuso, aññatreva rattibhojanā bhuñjatha. Aññatra kho panāvuso, tumhepi rattibhojanā bhuñjamānā appābādhatañca sañjānissatha appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañcā’ti. Evaṃ vutte kira, bhikkhave, tumhe te bhikkhū evaṃ avacuttha– ‘mayaṃ kho panāvuso, sāyañceva bhuñjāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle. Te mayaṃ sāyañceva bhuñjamānā pāto ca divā ca vikāle appābādhatañca sañjānāma appātaṅkatañca lahuṭṭhānañca balañca phāsuvihārañca. Te mayaṃ kiṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ hitvā kālikaṃ anudhāvissāma? Sāyañceva mayaṃ bhuñjissāma pāto ca divā ca vikāle’”ti. “Evaṃ, bhante”.
   177. “Kiṃ nu me tumhe, bhikkhave, evaṃ dhammaṃ desitaṃ ājānātha yaṃ kiñcāyaṃ purisapuggalo paṭisaṃvedeti sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā tassa akusalā dhammā parihāyanti kusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhantī”ti? “No hetaṃ, bhante”. “Nanu me tumhe, bhikkhave, evaṃ dhammaṃ desitaṃ ājānātha idhekaccassa yaṃ evarūpaṃ sukhaṃ vedanaṃ vedayato akusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti kusalā dhammā parihāyanti, idha panekaccassa evarūpaṃ sukhaṃ vedanaṃ vedayato akusalā dhammā parihāyanti kusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti, idhekaccassa evarūpaṃ dukkhaṃ vedanaṃ vedayato akusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti kusalā dhammā parihāyanti, idha panekaccassa evarūpaṃ dukkhaṃ vedanaṃ vedayato akusalā dhammā parihāyanti kusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti, idhekaccassa evarūpaṃ adukkhamasukhaṃ vedanaṃ vedayato akusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti kusalā dhammā parihāyanti, idha panekaccassa evarūpaṃ adukkhamasukhaṃ vedanaṃ vedayato akusalā dhammā parihāyanti kusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhantī”ti? “Evaṃ, bhante”.

   “Katamo ca, bhikkhave, puggalo ubhatobhāgavimutto? Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco puggalo ye te santā vimokkhā atikkamma rūpe āruppā te kāyena phusitvā viharati paññāya cassa disvā āsavā parikkhīṇā honti. Ayaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, puggalo ubhatobhāgavimutto imassa kho ahaṃ, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno ‘na appamādena karaṇīyan’ti vadāmi. Taṃ kissa hetu? Kataṃ tassa appamādena. Abhabbo so pamajjituṃ.

   184. “Atthi bhikkhave, catuppadaṃ veyyākaraṇaṃ yassuddiṭṭhassa viññū puriso nacirasseva paññāyatthaṃ ājāneyya. Uddisissāmi vo, bhikkhave, ājānissatha me tan”ti? “Ke ca mayaṃ, bhante, ke ca dhammassa aññātāro”ti? Yopi so, bhikkhave, satthā āmisagaru āmisadāyādo āmisehi saṃsaṭṭho viharati tassa pāyaṃ evarūpī paṇopaṇaviyā na upeti– ‘evañca no assa atha naṃ kareyyāma, na ca no evamassa na naṃ kareyyāmā’ti, kiṃ pana, bhikkhave, yaṃ tathāgato sabbaso āmisehi visaṃsaṭṭho viharati.
