  「比丘們!對邪見、邪志、邪語、邪業、邪命、邪精進、邪念、邪定、邪智邪解脫的人來說,凡如其見而完成、受持的身業,……(中略)語業,凡如其見而完成、受持的意業,凡有、希求、願求、行者,一切都導向那些不喜好的、不想要的、不合意的、不利的、苦的之法,那是什麼原因呢?比丘們!因為,見是惡的。
  比丘們!猶如楝樹種子、八角瓜種子、苦瓜種子種入潮濕的土中,所有它吸取土的養分;所有它吸取水的養分,一切都導向那苦味的、苦澀的、不合意的[味道],那是什麼原因呢?比丘們!因為,種子是惡的。同樣的,比丘們!對邪見、邪志、邪語、邪業、邪命、邪精進、邪念、邪定、邪智、邪解脫的人來說,凡如其見而完成、受持的身業,……語業,凡如其見而完成、受持的意業,凡有思、希求、願求、行者,一切都導向那些不喜好的、不想要的、不合意的、不利的、苦的之法,那是什麼原因呢?比丘們!因為,見是惡的。
  比丘們!對正見、正志、正語、正業、正命、正精進、正念、正定、正智、正解脫的人來說,凡如其見而完成、受持的身業,凡如其見而完成、受持的語業,凡如其見而完成、受持的意業,凡有思、希求、願求、行者,一切都導向那些喜好的、想要的、合意的、利益的、安樂的之法,那是什麼原因呢?比丘們!因為,見是善的。
  比丘們!猶如甘蔗種子、稻米種子、葡萄種子種入潮濕的土中,所有它吸取土的養分;所有它吸取水的養分,一切都導向那悅意的、甘美的、美味的[味道],那是什麼原因呢?比丘們!因為,種子是善的。同樣的,比丘們!對正見、……(中略)正解脫的人來說,凡如其見而完成、受持的身業,……語業,凡如其見而完成、受持的意業,凡有思、希求、願求、行者,一切都導向那些喜好的、想要的、合意的、利益的、安樂的之法,那是什麼原因呢?比丘們!因為,見是善的。」

   104. “Micchādiṭṭhikassa, bhikkhave, purisapuggalassa micchāsaṅkappassa micchāvācassa micchākammantassa micchā-ājīvassa micchāvāyāmassa micchāsatissa micchāsamādhissa micchāñāṇissa micchāvimuttissa yañca kāyakammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yañca vacīkammaṃ… yañca manokammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yā ca cetanā yā ca patthanā yo ca paṇidhi ye ca saṅkhārā, sabbe te dhammā aniṭṭhāya akantāya amanāpāya ahitāya dukkhāya saṃvattanti. Taṃ kissa hetu? Diṭṭhi hissa, bhikkhave, pāpikā.
   “Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, nimbabījaṃ vā kosātakibījaṃ vā tittakālābubījaṃ vā allāya pathaviyā nikkhittaṃ yañceva pathavirasaṃ upādiyati yañca āporasaṃ upādiyati sabbaṃ taṃ tittakattāya kaṭukattāya asātattāya saṃvattati. Taṃ kissa hetu? Bījañhi, bhikkhave, pāpakaṃ. Taṃ kissa hetu? Bījañhi bhikkhave, bhaddakaṃ.
