  有一次世尊住在娑雞多城的低耿達伎林園。
  在那裡,世尊召喚比丘們:「比丘們!」
  「尊師!」那些比丘回答世尊。
  世尊這麼說:
  「比丘們!比丘能時常在不厭拒上住於厭拒想,那就好了!比丘們!比丘能時常在厭拒上住於不厭拒想,那就好了!比丘們!比丘能時常在不厭拒與厭拒上住於厭拒想,那就好了!比丘們!比丘能時常在厭拒與不厭拒上住於不厭拒想,那就好了!比丘們!比丘能時常在厭拒與不厭拒兩者上都避免後,住於平靜,正念、正知,那就好了!
  比丘們!比丘緣於什麼利益應該在不厭拒上住於厭拒想呢?『不要我在會貪染的法上生起貪。』比丘們!比丘緣於這個利益應該在不厭拒上住於厭拒想。

  比丘們!比丘緣於什麼利益應該在厭拒上與不厭拒上住於不厭拒想呢?『不要我在會瞋的法上生起瞋;不要我在會貪染的法上生起貪。』比丘緣於這個利益應該在厭拒上與不厭拒上住於不厭拒想。
  比丘們!比丘緣於什麼利益應該在厭拒與不厭拒兩者上都避免後住於平靜,正念、正知呢?『無論何處、無論如何、無論何事,不要我在會貪染的法上生起貪;無論何處、無論如何、無論何事,不要我在會瞋的法上生起瞋;無論何處、無論如何、無論何事,不要我在會變癡的法上生起癡。』比丘緣於這個利益應該在厭拒與不厭拒兩者上都避免後住於平靜,正念、正知。」
AN.5.144/ 4. Tikaṇḍakīsuttaṃ
   144. Ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā sākete viharati tikaṇḍakīvane. Tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi– “bhikkhavo”ti. “Bhadante”ti te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. Bhagavā etadavoca–
   “Sādhu, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kālena kālaṃ appaṭikūle paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya. Sādhu, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kālena kālaṃ paṭikūle appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya. Sādhu, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kālena kālaṃ appaṭikūle ca paṭikūle ca paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya. Sādhu, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kālena kālaṃ paṭikūle ca appaṭikūle ca appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya. Sādhu, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kālena kālaṃ paṭikūlañca appaṭikūlañca tadubhayaṃ abhinivajjetvā upekkhako vihareyya sato sampajāno.
   “Kiñca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca appaṭikūle paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya? ‘Mā me rajanīyesu dhammesu rāgo udapādī’ti– idaṃ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca appaṭikūle paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya.
   “Kiñca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca paṭikūle appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya? ‘Mā me dosanīyesu dhammesu doso udapādī’ti– idaṃ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca paṭikūle appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya.
   “Kiñca bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca appaṭikūle ca paṭikūle ca paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya? ‘Mā me rajanīyesu dhammesu rāgo udapādi, mā me dosanīyesu dhammesu doso udapādī’ti– idaṃ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca appaṭikūle ca paṭikūle ca paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya.
   “Kiñca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca paṭikūle ca appaṭikūle ca appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya? ‘Mā me dosanīyesu dhammesu doso udapādi, mā me rajanīyesu dhammesu rāgo udapādī’ti – idaṃ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca paṭikūle ca appaṭikūle ca appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya.
   “Kiñca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca paṭikūlañca appaṭikūlañca tadubhayaṃ abhinivajjetvā upekkhako vihareyya? ‘Sato sampajāno mā me kvacani katthaci kiñcanaṃ rajanīyesu dhammesu rāgo udapādi, mā me kvacani katthaci kiñcanaṃ dosanīyesu dhammesu doso udapādi, mā me kvacani katthaci kiñcanaṃ mohanīyesu dhammesu moho udapādī’ti– idaṃ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu atthavasaṃ paṭicca paṭikūlañca appaṭikūlañca tadubhayaṃ abhinivajjetvā upekkhako vihareyya sato sampajāno”ti.
